The Chinese government's vision to develop the textile sector in the hinterland and western regions has started to bear fruit.
An agreement was signed yesterday to set up a Textile Industrial Park in Xianyang – Shaanxi province, which is located in the hinterland of China.
China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) and the Xianyang Municipal Government signed an agreement to jointly set up Xianyang Xinxing Textile Industrial Park.
This is the first of the nine parks to be setup by CNTAC in association with local governments in the hinterland and western regions.
