Chan May-Lang Economic Zone flocked by huge projects

Chan May-Lang Co Economic Zone, central Thua Thien Hue, is rapidly becoming a favoured destination for many manufacturers to shift their operations here.
Currently, 25 projects have been undertaken by 19 local and overseas players who invested around US $280 million.
It is expected that 14 of the above projects will be carried out in 2006, with total capital of $155 million that include the 65 billion VND Huong Giang tourism site, the Green Village tourism project and the Trade Union's tourism project.
Ho Chi Minh City-based Phong Phu Textile Company is investing over $80 million to set up a resort covering 130 hectares of area, making it the biggest project here.
