Bahrain plan investments in textile & petrochem sector

Recently, a delegation of Bangladeshi businessmen visited Bahrain and held discussions with Ebrahim Joynal, President of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry regarding economic growth.
Here, the business community of Bahrain has expressed the desire to invest in Bangladesh's primary sectors like textile and garment, petro-chemical, power and finance.
Besides, Bahrain entrepreneurs have also showed interest in importing a number of goods ranging from readymade garments to handicraft products.
Recognizing the potentiality of the country, Bangladeshi delegates have decided to participate in the Bahrain trade fair.
A variety of Bangladeshi goods are to be showcased at the event and with regard to this Bangladesh Embassy in Bahrain has already written a letter to the Bangladesh Export Promotion Bureau, Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Foreign Affairs to coordinate and lend assistance for the fair that will in turn enable the exporters to seize lucrative markets.
