MOIT eyes to enhance knitted cloth production

The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has recently approved the project for the improvement of knitted cloth production that is expected to serve export by 2015.

According to an official from MOIT, around US $2.5 billion will be invested in the program, concentrated only for knitting and dying industrial groups and zones, knitting and dying fibre projects and fibre producing factories.

The investment will be mobilized with in the domestic and foreign economic sectors under business cooperation, joint venture, equitization, security markets and commercial loans.

According to MOIT, the mobilization of capital for the above mentioned program holds a decisive role for the fulfillment of targets of textile and garment industry approved by the Prime Minister in November 2008.
