The Lien Anh Garment and Footwear Company which had set up a trading centre for the clothing and footwear sectors in May, closed down the centre in June on account of poor cooperation from the stake holders of the two sectors.

Now through the efforts of the Lien Anh Company, it has forged a deal with the state owned Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) to reopen the centre after receiving approval from the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade helped bring together the two entities in order to revive the trading centre which was set up expressly for sourcing of raw materials for the two most important export sectors of the Vietnamese economy.

The Ministry has proposed to Vinatex along with the Lien Anh Company, set up two more similar trading centres in Hanoi and HCM city like this one which is located in the Southern province of Binh Duong.
