President of China Cotton Textile Industry Association, Mr Xu Ying said that China's cotton textile industry realized a slight increase in output from January to November 2009.
From January to November 2009, yarn production reached 21.69 million tons, up 9.8 percent year on year; fabric production achieved 51.34 billion meters, up 4.42 percent year on year.
Main business income of Chinese cotton industry rose by 10.57 percent to reach US $889 billion Yuan.
