At a meeting held in Wuhan on April 22, to review the progress of an upcoming ethylene plant, it was decided to invest four billion Yuan this year.
This amount will be spent on setting up utility facilities like electricity and water supply. The deadline for the completion of the 800,000 tons per annum plant has been fixed at end-2012.
Till date, total investment has reached 1 billion Yuan, since the start of the project.
