Varmul to get Integrated Textile Park

In order to boost traditional industries including, goods of handicrafts and handloom industries, an Integrated Textile Park will be set up at village Singpora of Pattan in Varmul district.

This park will help market the textile products and about 22.73 acres of land has also been identified at the above mentioned village.

Basic requirements such as a common facility centre, school, post offices, hospital, exhibition hall, bank marketing outlets and the like, will all be provided in one group at this park.

During the announcement, the revenue agencies were also immediately directed to submit all the proceed extracts for occupation of land, so that the project report, depicting the important requirements for the development of the park and the allocated budget of about Rs 400 million are submitted to the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.

Apparently, the park project is likely to provide support right from the artisans to exporters and it will also aid people from the sectors of production of goods to its marketing.
