In the first half of this year, China's cotton yarn and fabric production once again returned to a double-digit growth.
Exports of both the textile commodities realized a double-digit growth and domestic demand continued to maintain strong momentum.
Cotton yarn output achieved 12.779 million tons in the first half, up by 1.743 million, or an increase of 15.8 percent tons year on year.
Cotton fabric production touched 18.22 billion meters, up by 3.65 billion meters or an increase of 25.1 percent year on year.
