Chemical fiber sector investment up in Q4

After preliminarily seasonal adjustment, in the fourth quarter of 2010, the investment in fixed assets of China's chemical fiber industry totaled to 10.52 billion Yuan, representing an increase of 48.7 percent year on year, but growth rate significantly fell 29.4 percentage points from the previous quarter.

In the fourth quarter of 2010, ex-factory price of chemical fiber industry's products sharply rose 16.3 percent year on year; the growth rate was 5.8 percentage points higher than the previous quarter, to post a record high.

In the fourth quarter of 2010, China's chemical fiber industry had 21.22 billion Yuan of accounts receivable, representing an increase of 5.8 percent year on year.

Turnover days of accounts receivable decreased to 13.7 days from 15.5 days of the previous quarter, cash withdrawn from circulation of the entire industry significantly accelerated.
