Punjab has almost finalized the decision to establish a Textile Park in Bathinda, said the Deputy Chief Minister of the state, Sukhbir Singh Badal. According to him, the proposed textile park would help the cotton growers from the Bathinda-Mansa belt to become a part of the value addition process of cotton.
The minister further added that all the upcoming textile parks including the one in Bathinda would be promoted under the continuous power supply zones. Powercom can be a signatory to the agreement which would involve a penal clause as well as assure 24-hour power supply to the textile parks.
