JX Nippon is expecting to restart its earthquake affected naphtha cracker plant by end- March.
The naphtha cracker based in Kawasaki, has an ethylene production capacity of 404,000 tons. It has been shut down ever since the earthquake hit Japan.
However, supplies of ethylene are continuing, clarified a company spokesperson.
