Chinese chemical fiber output shoots up in Jan-Feb

Chemical fiber production of large-scale textile enterprises reached 4.866 million tons in the first two months of 2011, up 18.3 percent (y-o-y) and the growth rate was 1.2 percent higher than in the same period last year.

China's exports of textile yarn, fabrics and other textile products totaled US $12.27 billion in the period under review, an increase of 20.8 percent. .

From January-February 2011, total sales value of large-scale enterprises of the textile industry amounted to 652.52 billion Yuan; a rise of 32 percent, the growth rate was 5.5 percent higher over the same period, last year.
