Chinese textile project receives provincial approval

A proposal to set up a textile and garment project costing around US $180 million, has received approval from the Hai Duong provincial People's Committee.
Hai Duong has granted an investment license to a joint venture of China's Pacific and Crystal Corporation.
The project when fully completed would generate jobs for 10,000 people and achieve sales of US $590 million.
