The Punjab government has successfully secured investments worth more than ₹3,200 crore in textiles, technical textiles, and apparel in the last nine months, said investment promotion minister Anmol Gagan Maan.

The multi-crore investment secured in the textile sector is likely to create employment opportunities for more than 13,000 skilled workers in the sector. The minister said that among the many leading investing companies include Sanatan Polycott and Nahar Spinning Mills, according to a press release by Punjab’s directorate of information and public relations.

Maan emphasised that this investment highlights the initiatives taken by the state government to create a favourable industrial ecosystem in the state that is conducive to business.
