Turkiye’s industrial production increased by 1.6 per cent year on year (YoY) in December last year, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (Turkstat). The index for manufacturing increased by 2.1 per cent and the one for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply increased by 4.5 per cent YoY in the month.Industrial production in the country increased by 2.4 per cent month on month (MoM). The manufacturing index increased by 2.9 per cent MoM and the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index decreased by 0.1 per cent MoM in the month.
Industrial production in Turkiye rose by 1.6 per cent year on year (YoY) and by 2.4 per cent month on month (MoM) in December 2023, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute.
The index for manufacturing increased by 2.1 per cent YoY and 2.9 per cent MoM during the month.
The energy index rose by 1.7 per cent YoY and fell by 0.3 per cent MoM.
The energy index increased by 1.7 per cent YoY and decreased by 0.3 per cent MoM in the month.
