The IIP for the manufacturing sector increased by 9.5 per cent YoY, while that for electricity production and distribution increased by 6.1 per cent YoY, an NSO release said.
The IIP in Vinh Long province increased by 10.1 per cent MoM, while in Hai Phong province, it increased by 7.8 per cent MoM.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the index increased by 5.4 per cent Mom, while in Quang Ngai province, it increased by 2.4 per cent MoM, an NSO release said.
In Quang Ninh province, it increased by 2.1 per cent Mom, while in Dong Nai province, it increased by 1.9 per cent MoM.
In Da Nang and Bac Ninh provinces, it decreased by 1.7 per cent and 1.2 per cent respectively.
