Apparel exports from Cambodia surged by 18.32 per cent to $2,025.322 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2024. This accounted for 32.34 per cent of the country's total foreign income, which amounted to $6,261.657 million for the period, as per the General Department of Customs and Excise (GDCE) under the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The trade figures for March 2024 indicate that textile exports are gaining momentum after a long declining trend.
