Cambodia's jersey exports to Canada were valued at $74.217 million, representing 16.39 per cent of total apparel exports. The outbound shipments of T-shirts amounted to $38.560 million (8.51 per cent), shirts to $31.012 million (6.85 per cent), and coats to $20.969 million (4.63 per cent), according to Fibre2Fashion's market insight tool TexPro.
In 2023, Cambodia’s total apparel exports to Canada amounted to $947.257 million. Of this, the export of trousers and shorts was valued at $309.173 million, accounting for 32.64 per cent of the total. Jersey exports were noted at $215.354 million (22.73 per cent), T-shirts at $80.363 million (8.48 per cent), shirts at $56.119 million (5.92 per cent), and nightwear at $51.891 million (5.48 per cent).
Canada was the fourth largest market for Cambodia’s apparel exports during the first six months of this year. Cambodia’s total apparel exports were valued at $5.548 billion during this period, with Canada accounting for 8.29 per cent of the total. The United States, Japan, and Spain were the top three markets for Cambodian apparel exports, as per TexPro.
