European and American countries contributed a mere 5 per cent to the total of Chile's apparel imports in 2023. Among the top ten suppliers, Spain and Italy were the European contributors. Chile imported apparel from Spain valued at $26.517 million, making it the sixth largest supplier. The imports from Italy were valued at $22.080 million, placing it eighth. As for the American suppliers, Peru ranked seventh with a trade of $25.275 million, and imports from the United States were noted at $19.487 million, ranking tenth among the top suppliers, according to TexPro.
