China's textile & garment exports fetch $253 bn till Nov

Textiles and garment exports earned $253.96 billion for China in the first eleven months of 2018, according to customs statistics. Exports of textiles, including yarn, fabric and related products, fetched $109.30 billion, registering a growth of 9.3 per cent year-on-year. On the other hand, garment and clothing accessories exports grew by 0.9 per cent to $144.66 billion.

In November 2018, China’s textiles and apparel exports stood at $23.05 billion. Of this, exports of yarn, fabric and related products earned $10.31 billion. On the other hand, apparel and apparel accessories exports fetched $12.74 billion, declining for the first time in six months since May this year. (RKS)
