Germany, Spain and Italy were the biggest markets for Turkey's denims.
Turkish spinners produce lower grade cotton used for denim production at very competitive rates than China's.
This has given the Turkish denim manufacturers an edge over not only China, but also all over other countries.
Even though the total textile output fell, the denim boom has boosted cotton consumption in the country.
