Vietnam's garment exports are continuing their successful run as they recorded a 40 percent growth in the first quarter of 2006 over the same period last year.
Trade Ministry revealed that the garment and textiles worth US $500 million were exported in March totaling up to $1367 million for the first quarter.
Country received orders from 100 more EU firms this year and exports to Canada also recorded a steady growth.
