KazSPO-N, a Kazakhstan based firm that manufactures sportswear under the brand name ZIBROO has singed a long-term contract for export of €7 million worth of goods to Russia.

The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the IX International Congress for Winter Event, Tourism and Outdoor Activity held in Sochi city of Russia, prior to Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games, according to the website of Kaznex Invest, the Kazakh National Agency for Export and Investment.

The Kazakh firm has singed the contract with Moscos-based Ski Kit Centre, which sells professional sport equipment and kits in Russia.

Kaznex Invest provided financial and organizational support to KasSPO-N for presentation of its winter sports and ski collection to potential buyers.

In 2014, the volume will increase to €1.2 million while products would be sold in 15 regions of Russia. By 2018, the volume is expected to go up to €5 million, while the number of Russian regions where ZIBROO sportswear will be sold would increase to 20.

Last year, KazSPO-N, with the support of Kaznex Invest, presented its products at Ski Showroom-2012 exhibition in Moscow, which resulted in the Kazakh firm signing RU 4.5 million deal with Russian firm Neotex LLC and a €50,000 agreement with Wodl Seilbahnen of Austria.
