Vietnamese Ministry of Trade (MOT) has just promulgated a Notification No. 0143/TM-DM concerning regulation of textile and garment export quota for the US for the rest of 2006.
As per the notification, MOT will grant export license of categories no. 334/335 that is Other Men and Boys Coats / Women and Girls Coats within the auto – visa fund for enterprises which are about to deliver their goods abroad.
This means that the licenses will be only issued for those companies that have already imported materials and contracted to deliver finished goods by April 2006.
As for other enterprises not satisfying the above requirements, MOT will consider and approve the licenses later.
