Vietnam Textile Association (Vitas) held a launch ceremony of Ho Chi Minh city Textile and Garment chapter, late last week.
Viet Tien Garment Company were the official hosts.
Nguyen Dinh Truong, Viet Tien's General Director is Chairman of the chapter under Vitas.
HCMC chapter's debut is to increase cooperation in exchange of information and experience among enterprises from the city, that will in turn satisfy large orders as well as face challenges posed with Vietnam joining of WTO, according to Le Quoc An, Chairman, Vitas.
