Textile and garment exports turnover for May was valued at $430 million and that for footwear stood at $280 million.
Vietnam's export during Jan–May period, this year, for textile and garment reached $2.12 billion while the footwear sector reaped revenue reached $1.36 billion.
From amongst entire boutique of goods exported during May, garment and footwear achieved second and third position.
