Sewing machines supplies from China to Vietnam have witnessed a surge during the third week (dates inclusive: 12-16) of June, 2006.
Manufacturers exported 233 sets of machines recording a value of US $100,000 during these five days.
Average price is acceptable for Vietnamese clothing enterprises.
Price of Chinese sewing machines varies from US $300 to $400 per set, but if buyers purchase 6 sets together, exporters offer the same at $800.
With this export figure, China has maintained its supremacy over sewing machine market across the world.
