Statistics of MOT revealed that apparel accessories exports turnover in first nine months 2006 touched $366,638,140, with remarkable growth at almost all markets.
However, in September there was a slight drop in comparison with 6 percent in previous month, as exports turnover of these goods (including bag, wallet, suitcase, hat and umbrella) reached $36,307,002.
So far, these Made–in–Vietnam goods have been marketed in 38 countries and territories, of which US is leading importer worth $120,872,983 in January – September period this year, followed by Belgium for $48,742,640 and Japan worth $35,621,427.
