Bursa registers 5.4% increase in exports of textiles & RMG

Exports of textiles and ready-made-garments of Bursa reached US $1.2 billion in the first ten months of 2006.
According to Uludag Exporters' Association, in January-October period of 2005 exports of ready-made-clothing from US $449.3 million increased to $473.9 million in January-October period of 2006 at rate of 5.4 percent.
While exports of textile increased by 13.1 from $675.3 million in previous year to $743.9 million this year.
The textiles and ready-made-clothing were exported to nine free zones and 104 countries in this period.
