Entire ready-made products import during the January-July 2006 period totaled upto over 134,715 million kilograms, representing year-on-year rise of around 13.9 percent.
While China remains top supplier with 29.14 million kilograms and over 14.5 percent increase, Germany ranks second at around 19.93 million kilograms.
Significant growth was recorded in imports from Asian countries of Pakistan at 11.86 million kilograms, up 35 percent and India with 11.11 million kilograms.
Exports also registered more than six percent growth at 90,304 million kilograms with Tunisia being the top market at 27.21 million kilograms and over 7 percent rise.
India ranked second followed by France at 7.19 and 7.06 million kilograms of made-up imports, respectively.
