Due to wide affect of global warming in Europe, Zhejiang Garment exporters are witnessing decline in their exports.

On January 8, 2007, average temperature in England was 12 °C and it was 13°C in London.

This year, average temperature in winter was three times higher compared to past 30 years.

Since last November, the wholesale volume of warm clothes has declined by almost 60 percent.

Due to hike in temperature, Parisians are reluctant to purchase winter clothes and people are waiting to purchase clothes on discount.

At present, clothes exported to Europe are sold at discount rate of about 50 percent.
