During the first half of this year, June recorded the highest growth in textile and apparel exports of Vietnam to Russia at US $12.3 million, registering a 78.8 percent rise from May and 16.4 percent over the same month 2006.
For January-June 2007 period, the exports turnover was $31.3 million, in which jacket at 6,35,000 sets worth 13.1 million took the top spot.
This accounted for 42 percent of total textile and apparel exports to Russia, rising 30.7 percent and 57 percent respectively in comparison with same period 2006.
