Export of Jumper suit falls in Q3

Vietnamese General Customs Department has recently reported that exports of jumper suit from the country dropped in the third quarter. However, a strong growth can be seen in the previous two quarters.

In September, the country exported 1.7 million jumper pieces worth US $8.8 million, slumping 20.6 percent and 18.9 percent respectively in comparison to previous months.

In the first nine months this year, shipments were made to 53 countries across the world, totaled 10.9 million pieces, worth $57.2 million, representing a year–on–year growth of 10.7 and 23.6 percent respectively.

During this period, US stood as the largest market for jumper suits. Around 3.4 million pieces of products worth $20 million were exported to the US, which soared 30.8 and 37.7 percent against corresponding period 2006.
