The Ministry of Industry and Trade recently reported that the country exported apparel accessories worth US $49.96 million in October 2007, including bag, wallet, suitcase, hat and umbrella.
Export figure for January to October reached $508.44 million, representing a year–on–year growth of 25.6 percent.
The US continues to remain the largest clients among all 43 countries across the world sourcing products from Vietnam.
The country exported apparel accessories worth $165.58 million to the US market followed by Belgium at $59.19 million and Japan for $51.75 million.
