Trouser export maintains stability in Q1

The total exports of woven trousers for men from China to various parts of world in the first quarter of 2008 reached nearly US $1.41547 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.43 percent.

On the other hand, the percentage points fell to 15.04, lower than the growth rate of 19.47 percent of total exports of textile and garments.

March export value amounted to almost $398.3 million, the average price was approximately $4.9 per piece, depicting a slight decrease of $0.14 per piece from the average price level of $5.04 per piece from January to March 2008.
