A recently released statistical report, from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, suggests that in January 2008, the country's apparel accessories exports turnover fell to US $59.40 million, a flabbergasting drop of 16 percent year-on-year.
During the period, apparel accessories shipments were made to 27 countries and regions worldwide. Exports to the US accounted for the top spot with shipments totaling to $ 14.16 million and accounting for 24 percent of accessories exports.
Japan took second place with accessories shipments adding up to $6.39 million, followed by Germany with $6.07 million, Belgium $5.46 million and Netherlands with $3.81 million took the fifth place among all importing countries.
