In fiscal year 2008, Hung Yen Garment JSC (Hugaco), passed through various difficulties in its overseas markets to emerge triumphant by garnering an export growth of 22 percent.
Hugaco's revenue in 2008 reached VND 250 billion (equivalent to US$42.5 million) and enjoyed a net profit of VND26.89 billion (US$1.6 million), which rose by 39 percent when compared with 2007.
In 2009, the company anticipates a lot of difficulties in generating a decent growth rate and hence has set its targets for those achieved in 2008, which it expects to achieve without major hurdles.
