The monthly salary of Cambodia's labor force is only about US $50 and with overtime it reaches only $70-80 per month, which is its biggest strength.

Other countries like Vietnam, Indonesia and Bangladesh are now concentrating on low and middle end products and in the process undermining prospects of China.

Some of the exporters from these countries have now replaced Chinese vendors in shipments to the US, Europe and other developed economies.

In the U.S. apparel market, current shares of Vietnam and Bangladesh have increased to 7.5 percent and 6.5 percent, respectively, which can cost Chinese producers dearly.
