The Bangladesh Government recently withdrew the ban on export of certain categories of raw jute, including uncut Bangla tossa rejection (BTR) and Bangla white rejection (BWR). The ministry of textiles and jute issued a circular on May 29 in this regard. The decision follows a demand by the Bangladesh Jute Association (BJA) for withdrawing the ban.
