Jute products worth more than Rs.30 million were destroyed in a fire, at Libra Carpets, in Orissa, company officials said Thursday.
The fire broke out in Cuttack district, at about 6.30 pm Wednesday due to a reported short circuit.
The shed stored huge quantity of export-oriented finished jute products, which were destroyed, said police inspector Aswini Mohanty.
More than 30 fire-tenders were rushed to the spot to quell the fire, Mohanty added.
