NEITCO, Guwahati in alliance with Takyel Lairembi Ima Weavers Cooperative Society (TLIWCS), Sagolband Tera prearranged at its premises fundamental training courses on jute weaving and Advance cum Design Development Training on jute products.
The training programmes lasted for 21 days concluding on April 26 with participation of 50 women trainees.
National Centre for Jute Diversification, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India had sponsored the training programme on jute weaving and making of varied jute produce like door-mat, carpet, curtain, table-mat etc, reported the release.
