India Jute Mill suspends production

Due to lower production, management of India Jute Mill in Hoogly had suspended production activity.
Ganesh Sarkar of Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC), informed that reason of close down would be identified.
He also claimed that management was trying to escape from paying dues, including dearness allowances.
He held that to avoid strike and protest of 3500 workers, management has closed unit earlier.
