Two officials of Platinum Jubilee Jute Mills were knocked down by the factory workers in the Khalishpur industrial area. The reason behind this violent assault was the non payment of dues and Eid bonus to the employees.
Administrative Officer Aftabuddin and Assistant Manager Nasiruddin Nazu were the two unfortunate victims of yesterday's incidence.
A similar situation arose at the Eastern Jute Mills and Alaim Jute Mills in the Atre industrial area, forcing the managements to tighten the security.
