Two major fashion events in India, just a week apart, in the two metros, and the trends for 2006 are all set.

Renowned designers have pronounced the 'in' and 'out', the 'dos' and 'donts' and the 'hot' and 'naught' for the season.

Accessories are 'in'this year, from hand bags or purses to mobile holders.

Footwear needs to be stylish and sleek, especially well heeled sandals with thin crossed straps.

Flowing skirts long and short, tubes as well as bellowing seem will be hits this year.

Heavily ornamented kurtis along with racer back tops are a 'must have' this year.

Beach wears, bustiers, corsets and body hugging tops are hip among the bold and the beatiful.

Pastels, light shades, especially greens and bright pinks are definitely the colours for the year.
