Punjab, the land of five rivers, is all set to water its textile shrub as the state's Fashion Technology Park (FTP) has signed four agreements to breathe life into once flourishing industry.
The agreements were signed with Paris-based Esmod International Fashion School, Bangalore's Munch Design Workshop, Vadodara's Bodhi Textile Design Studio and Workshop, and the Textile Manufacturers Association of Amritsar.
Located in the vicinity of Mohali town, the park is forging tie-ups with reputed national and international fashion houses and institutions for promoting designing, production and marketing of fashion technology, said Jagjit Singh Kochar, FTP CEO.
