In almost all current formal parties of both daytime and evening, ruffled white is most preferred and unanimous colour for both classicists and other fashion followers.

For Victorian tradition of high tea, a flowing white skirt teamed with a voile top in embroidery gives appropriate look for the occasion. These can be accessorized with metallic kolhapuri wedges, a crochet tote and paint your toenails a bright shade, tips fresh designer Priyanka Thakur.

In formal sit-down dinner, you can look presentable with a plain white, raw silk sheath dress, or even a loose-fitting mul dress embellished with ivory hued beads and textured seams, suggests designer Anita Dongre. Accessorizing them with pearls and an antique silver bag will complete the look for you.

For partying till dawn in nightclubs, metallic prints on halter tops or baby doll dresses with pearl embroidery predominantly of white will makeyou stand out in the crowd, hints designer Falguni Peacock.
