The colour this year at the big event is lime green.
Shenay Perry of US wore a white shirt with green trimmings over her short lime skirt while facing world number three Amelie Mauresmo.
Serena Williams dazzled the Australian court in her one-piece lime green dress and defeated opponent Mara Santangelo.
Mercurial Marat Safin from Russia, who won men's championship in 2005, set fire on the court with a five set victory over Israeli Dudi Sela wearing a shirt of the same colour worn by Serena.
Let's hope to see a lot of bright colours during the entire Australian open so that fashionistas can replicate them off the court.
