Eco-friendly clothing for fashionistas

This year, brands are going to bring eco-friendly clothes for fashionistas and they can enjoy organic clothes in every price range.

Now organic terry jackets, slim-fit organic denim jeans and other range of clothes will enter into fashion world.

International fashion brands like Target, Victoria's Secret, H&M and Nike offer organic clothing in the market.

According to estimates, about 95 percent of organic cotton is used in the production of these fabrics. Sales of organic cotton between 2001 and 2005 have drastically increased from US $245 million to $583 million. It is anticipated that sales will be up $2 billion by end of 2008.

Designers are also trying to include eco-friendly fabrics like bamboo, soy, corn and hempsilk in manufacturing of clothes.

Target is also planning to extend its organic baby clothes line this year. Even Victoria's Secret will also include organic cotton to its collection this year.
