Tennis players showcase Indian dress at fashion show

Anna Kournikova, Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams and Sania Mirza are names synonymous with tennis as well as being brand ambassadors for fashion accessories, in their own way.
The Tennis players had gathered for Sony Ericsson WTA international championship and it was natural for them to try their hand at a fashion show to showcase Indian dress. The event was held at Hotel Chancery Pavilion, in Bangalore.
Looking stunningly gorgeous in saris, about 20 players walked the ramp with Alicia Molik, Sunitha Rao and Shikha Uberoi among them.
"It was just wonderful experience for all of them. They have been talking about it even this morning," said Sally Bradfield, Communication Manager of the WTA Tour.
